The best way to lose weight is calorie cycling. Each day you eat a different number of calories.
It works because your body never gets used to how many calories you take in. You’re always tricking it. It’s a way to lose weight without starving yourself. You just have to count calories. If you want to pig out, do it on your high calorie days.

    Day 1: 1200 calories
    Day 2: 2000 calories
    Day 3: 1200 calories
    Day 4: 1600 calories
    Day 5: 1600 calories
    Day 6: 2000 calories
    Day 7 1600 calories

Make sure you get in some moderate exercise a few days a week.

Identify your ideal weight. If you’re 5′5″ with a certain build, there’s an ideal weight that matches your body type. Find it – and make that your goal. And if you don’t know what that might be, try searching the Web for a calculator (though results and calculations will vary by a small margin). Now you have a weight goal to shoot for.

Consider the source. I’m going to make a gross generalization here, but… why would I trust an overweight doctor or nutritionist to give me proper advice on weight loss? “Do as I say and not as I do” is not a maxim I’m willing to accept from anybody who would be qualified to tell me how to do something. Talk to people who are doing it, or who have done it and been successful. You don’t have to mirror their regimen, but at least you’re getting help from someone who’s really been there. Or, as they said in the Christmas episode of “Two and a Half Men,” people who live in fat asses shouldn’t throw waffles.

If you want to lose weight, you need to two things: eat less and exercise more. Weight gain happens when you create a calorie surplus (eat more than you burn). Your body takes the excess calories and converts them to fat which get stored around your stomach, arms and thighs. The longer you remain in a calorie surplus, the more weight you’ll gain. To lose that weight, you need to do the opposite. You need to create a calorie deficit (start eating less than you burn).

Your first step is to figure out how many calories you burn on a daily basis. Use a calorie calculator - http://calorieneedscalculator.com The number you get from this tool is what your body burns on a daily basis. To lose weight, simply eat less. It sounds a lot easier than it is but making small changes helps you adjust to a new lifestyle. Don’t think of this as a diet, think of it as a new life. Instead of eating foods high in sugars, white flour and saturated fat, go with fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, fish, lean meats, nuts and beans. In addition to eating less, you also need to exercise more. Start off at 1-2 times per week and work your way up to 3-5 times per week.

Don’t make all of these changes at once or you won’t be able to properly adjust to them. Generally, eating healthier foods will decrease your calorie intake. Compare a doughnut to an apple and you’ll see that healthy foods are lower in calories. You can find some more information at the Straight Health Forums - http://forums.straighthealth.com

    Remember you need Three (3)Things
The first 2 are Willpower & Wont power
    Wont eat Junk food
    Wont drink soda’s
    and Wont eat Ice Cream
    Will Exercise everyday
    Will eat Healthy foods
Cycling, Swimming Tennis and Brisk Walking,
    Skating is good too
    Sound like hard work?
2 coin a phrase ‘just do it!’
The third thing you need is commonsense
