I had a little bit of an eating disorder for a while, and just getting over that now. I realized after a while that because I was starving myself or skipping meals for the longest time, my stomach gradually got smaller and now can’t handle much food at all.
So I’m really struggling to find some HEALTHY ways to lose weight (i.e, walks, cardio workouts, workouts for the abs, runs, certain foods that may help to lose weight, etc), if you could help me and list some that would be awesome!

ok well you screwed your self over starving your self because when you eat you can gain weight quicker. now to be great shape you want to eat small meals and about 5 to 6 meals a day and for snacks only veggies and fruits it will be hard but you will love the results and try sticking with water as much as possible instead of pop or any alcohol. now to get tone and sexy you want a lot of cardio like run on track for two miles or ride bike for a couple and even swim pretty much anything to raise that heart beat of yours to burn calories. now to build muscle lift some little weights here and there to build some muscle and dont take no diet pills most are a hox.

The only real way it’s ever worked for me and others I’ve seen is the low carb thing. You do if for a while, don’t make it a lifestyle, but your body goes into keytoses, and uses the fat in you for energy. In other words, you body eats it’s own fat, for fuel. That’s why it is not a lifestyle, only an emergency star. then when you get to were you want, you start eating different foods and only good carbs like in fruit and whole wheat bread. People debate and complain about “Atkins,” but I did it years ago and it worked great. About 10 yrs later, I became disabled and less active and suddenly gained a lot of weight. I intend to start with the master cleanse, lemon, red paper and raw syrup, and then the no carb for about a month. I’ll probably have more stregnth to exercise like I like to and then it will be on and kicking!!!!
Always eat a good protein breakfast in the morning, though. You’ll have all day to work that off. Maybe some low carb drinks, plenty of water and nice long good walks, or those dancing ab workouts like I’ve got: Hip Hop abs.
I know muscle groups and exercise. I know they will work, (once I get another dvd!)

WHEN to eat for losing weight…
• Eat (at least) three times a day.
Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That’s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight… you must eat (the right things, of course)
• Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.
• Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try.

• Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast–eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.
WHAT to drink for losing weight…
• Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day !
Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water!
This improves your bowel, reduces the “hunger” sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks!
Don’t believe the slogan “water makes me fat”. Beside being stupid… you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys.
• Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squeezed!
Don’t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, Spite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions.
Exercise for losing weight…
• If you want quicker results - exercise would be good.
• Don’t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts…
I guarantee THIS won’t work for your weight loss…
• Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don’t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants!
• Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don’t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.
• Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don’t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?
• Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.

What you need to do is start keeping a food diary, outlining what you eat, what times and if there were any emoitions behind it. This is what I had to do with my personal trainer before and it really helped

For diet, stick with healthy stuff - fruits veggies and lean meats. If you stick to this an eliminate sugars and processed foods, weight loss comes naturally.
For exercise, do something you love to do so you stick with it. If you’re having fun that exercise isn’t a chore. There are so many programs out there that include dancing, kickboxing, etc.
